Surrealism is a movement which started in the 1920s, which is known for creating unusual but fascinating images. An example of this in advertising is The Insight Autumn 2013 campaign, which brought surrealism and sportswear together, to create a series of posters to advertise their clothing. They used different ideas like cutting people in half, and putting peoples bodies in unusual angles to make them look different to what you would normally see a person looking like, which counted towards their surrealism. I like this campaign as it hasn't been seen before, as it is so unusual, which is what surrealism is trying to represent. It breaks through things that normally people wouldn't usually like.
