When you analyse an artists work, you can use Form, Content, Process. Mood to help describe what is included in the image. Form is looking at the formal elements of the artwork, so you can answer questions like 'Why did the artist use certain colours?' or 'What textures are included?'. For Content, it is focusing on what culture, place, time, or society the image is related to, so some questions you could answer for this are 'When was it made?' or 'Can you link the work to other parts of the period?'. Process is how the work was created, and what techniques were used, so questions for this are 'what materials were used to make this work?' or 'what is the evidence for this?'. Lastly, Mood looks at if the artist made an atmosphere or feeling around the work, so you could ask 'How does the work make you feel?' or 'Why do you think you feel this?'. I think that using this method is very useful, as it allows you to know yourself that you have included all the information you need to include in a very easy way.
