War Artists- Why do they do it?

War artists create their work as it allows everyone to see what is happening, whilst also allowing you to find out hidden secrets in their artwork, that are also hidden secrets to the world. The pieces of work can also be seen as propaganda, or it can even help you to remember what has happened, but they are always trying to expose the life of people like soldiers or civilians caught up in the fight. This allows us to understand what others are going through in other parts of the world, and shows us that there are people a lot less fortunate than others. To some people, by showing this, it helps charities, as it shows who the people are going to be helping, as some people would not believe the stories if they haven't seen any evidence of all of the things that are happening.
