My primary research helped me in my designs as they gave me some ideas of different animations, and helped me to see what types of animation are popular now.
Also, the secondary research went into more detail about what different animations there are, and helped me to decide what style would suit my story the most.
The processes and techniques I used were successful, as I was able to create my stop motion animation using an app on my phone, and it allowed the animation to speed up, so that the photos could be turned into a proper animation.
The artist I looked at was Tim Burton, and he influenced my work as his films made me love stop-motion animation, and this lead me to create my final product using this style of animation.
The changes I made throughout the process was what the character looked like, and how the story played out, which is shown in my sketchbook from my drawings. I did this as it improved the overall look of the story, and it also worked better with the clay that I used to create the animation.
From this project, I have found out that stop-motion and computer animations are the most used in the film industry now, as the older version take too long to make, and they are no longer better quality than other techniques.
To make my project better, I could have added more to the story to make it a little longer, and could go into the story a little bit more to allow it to make a little more sense.
