Reflection- Farmaggedon

The primary and secondary research I collected were helpful towards my research as the primary showed me different ideas for things like leaflets, as these showed what colours would be most successful. My secondary research helped me to explore even more ideas that could not be found on the leaflets, and helped me get more inspiration of what P.O.S products I could create.
The processes and techniques I used were successful, as I was able to print out my postcards, make the badges with the badge press machine, and to create the T-Shirt design and allow it to be heat pressed on, and they all came out the right sizes and colours. The techniques I used were the badge maker, illustrator, photoshop, and the t-shirt press.
The other companies I looked at were from the London Dungeons, and these influenced my work as they showed me what colours and pictures were more successful to catch the eye of the audience I am looking at.
I chose Badges, T-shirts and Postcards to create as when I searched at what was used the most, and even what I saw the most, these were the most successful, meaning that they were also seen by more people, as all of these products are easy to carry around with you.
The changes that I made to all of the designs were what images I was using on the products, as the more research I did, the more I knew what would go with each of the 5 houses better, and this allowed me to either change or add things to the images to make them more convenient.
From this project, I have found out that I cannot include too much gore in the work that I create, as certain images can show offence to people, including that sometimes you need to be careful what you draw, as it could offend certain religions, and I also gained the skills badge making and t-shirt heat pressing skills.
To make my project better, I could have maybe added a poster, with each of the designs being showcased to allow it all to fit together more, but I think I have been successful, as I have included lots of different designs that allow farmaggedon to be advertised, making up different points of sale.
